Waskashi - Update #4
Shifting gears
While initially I was thinking this project as "another kind of farm sim with special focus to characters", I found myself moving towards a more RPG like game. I actually renamed the whole project because of it, Waskashi, gives me nostalgic vibes.
This means:
- More focus to combat, make it turn based
- Reward exploration
- Skills, player level, as well as job level (miner, fisherman, lumberjack...)
- Bigger maps, level range per area
- Crafting equiment
- Achievements
...
I'll leave some of the latest screenshots

So what's next?
Uh... a lot!
It's been a bit more than 3 months since the project started, and I can barely believe the amount of progress I did (friendly reminder this is a solo project, if it looks nice it's mainly because of jamiebrownhill)
I'll be focused on getting the core basics of the RPG, so you can actually progress, and then polish every little aspec of the game later.
Expect a new version of the game soon-ish, lots of updates since 0.1.0
Oh, and before I forget, the name comes from the japanese "Natsukashii", which means nostalgic :)
